Attract: A Display Font for Makers Who Stand Out

I was sitting with my sketchbook, staring at a blank candle label mockup on my screen. The scent was perfect—a blend of vanilla and cedar—but the design felt flat. I needed a typeface that carried that same sense of warmth and originality. That’s when I found Attract. The very first word I typed with it, the name of the candle, “Hearth & Honey,” transformed the entire label. It wasn’t just text anymore; it was a piece of the product’s story.

The Personality of a Futuristic Font

Attract feels incredibly unique and futuristic, but its charm is deeply accessible. It has a sleek, geometric foundation, yet each character possesses a subtle, almost hand-crafted curvature. This isn’t a cold, digital font; it’s a warm, modern one. The style evokes a confident, creative mood—perfect for products that aim to be memorable, not just another item on a shelf. Its overall appeal lies in that balance: it’s striking enough to stop a scrolling eye on a marketplace listing, but it’s also friendly enough to feel personal on a wedding invitation or a handwritten-style greeting card.

Bringing Attract to Life on Real Products

From that first candle label, my exploration began. I printed a test on my sticker paper—a simple “Thank You” for packaging—and the clarity was superb, even at a smaller size. This opened up so many possibilities.

For Physical Goods & Packaging

Attract became my go-to for defining moments on a product. I used it for:

The font affects presentation profoundly. It creates immediate brand consistency across different items—a candle, a sticker, a card—all feel cohesively yours. That consistency builds customer recognition. More than that, it builds an emotional connection; the right typography can make a product feel joyful, sophisticated, or serene.

For Digital & Printable Creations

As a printable creator, Attract shines in digital mockups and final files. For:

Practical Advice for Crafting with Attract

Attract is a display font. Its strength is in short, impactful phrases: product names, titles, single-word statements, decorative wording. It’s ideal for the main headline on a label, the “Happy Birthday” on a card, or the “Welcome” on a sign. For longer body text, like ingredient lists or invitation details, you’ll want to pair it with a clean, readable sans serif or a simple serif font. This pairing creates a beautiful hierarchy and ensures everything is legible.

Readability is key for physical products. When testing for cutting machines like Cricut or Silhouette, ensure your text size is large enough for the blade to trace the unique shapes cleanly. For small stickers or tiny tags, a very small point size might lose some of the font’s intricate detail—test a print first. On printed cards and mockups, it performs beautifully, but always check your digital previews at 100% zoom to see how it will look as a physical item.

Before You Sell: A Maker’s Checklist

Using a font like Attract for commercial products is a joy, but it requires a practical approach. Before selling physical goods, templates, or digital downloads featuring the typeface, do your due diligence.

Check the included styles. Does it have multiple weights or alternates that could give you more flexibility? Examine the supported file formats to ensure they work with your design software. Confirm the multilingual support if your market is broad. Most importantly, always verify the commercial license. A true commercial font license allows you to use it on products you sell, merchandise like mugs and shirts, and in digital files you offer as downloads. This foundational step protects your creative business and lets you use Attract with confidence, knowing your stunning labels and cards are fully yours to share and sell.

My journey with Attract started with a candle label feeling incomplete. Now, it’s the typographic voice across my entire shop’s branding. It turns simple design ideas into standout pieces, whether that’s a holiday tag peeking out from a gift bag or the bold title on a printable art file. For any maker looking to infuse their work with a unique, future-forward charm, this font isn’t just a tool—it’s a co-creator.
